Ah February.....Valentines.....Celebration of Black history.......Heart health awareness ......Mardi Gras.....Super Bowl Sunday...... Chinese New Year.....Ground Hog day......Presidents' day. It may be the shortest month in the calender year but it has the most celebration days. I myself am partial to the birthdays.Mostly because I am a February baby. I know a hand full of others who celebrate their births in this winter month. But alas I do not know one who's date is the 29th. It would be cool to know someone, maybe I'll cross paths with a leap-year baby one day. Our oldest is a Friday the 13th February baby.She hates being a winter baby, no pool parties. I used to say I was a late Valentines present. Funny, because I have never liked Valentines Day. Living in the south snow ain't a regular form of precipitation in our winters, but if we get any it's usually in February, around my birthday. Great present! Birthdays mean more to me know than they used to.No giant parties or anything like that just thankful to have made it through another year. My new year sorta. I take the time to reflect and renew. Give thanks and grieve. No cakes or presents just quiet thankfulness that I am still here. So to all the other February Babies... Happy Birthday!!!!
